Ami and Doug turn One! (Anniversary Session)

July 26, 2014  •  Leave a Comment

This shoot was a blast. Ami wanted a combo of fun and romantic pictures to celebrate their first year of marriage. We started at Union Station and shot until we got kicked out. The security guard said that my camera looked "too important." I think it might have also had something to do with the fact that we were standing in the middle of the main hallway and I was yelling across to them "Jump! Ami, put your leg up! Kiss!". Luckily we were able to sneak a few more pictures in the garden and in front of the building after that. Then we headed across the street to the colorful and festive Olvera Street. It was a busy Saturday and there were a lot of people around. We came up with the code "hold for pigeons" to indicate that there was someone in the background that was getting in the frame. I will definitely use that one again next time I am in a busy public place.

Here are some of my favorite shots from the session. Ami and Doug's fun spirit and the love they have for each other just shines. It also helps that Ami is extremely photogenic.
